How do you winterize a MotorHome? When should you do it?
You should winterize before temperatures reach the freezing mark, unless your coach stays heated inside and in the compartments where the water and holding tanks are.

To winterize, drain everything: water tank, holding tanks, hot water heater, pump, and all of the lines. Remove the water filter. To get the maximum water out of the lines, open the faucets on each line for a good gravity effect. Use your air compressor to blow through each line until all signs of water are gone. Leave all of the lines and faucets open. Then take a container of RV antifreeze and pour into each drain to fill the trap.
