I have a 72 Avco Grand Lodge and I had a w/s replaced in 1978 just after I bought it and the unit is still on the road today. The w/s number is W730 and W731 I hope that helps. Another source could be Colaw RV parts and Salvage just outside of Carthage, MO. Ph# 877-548-2125 and e mail www.colawrvsalvage.com. They are in the business of parting out old motor homes and travel trailers.
The trans mount for the dodge 727 should be available at any auto parts store.
you may need to go to a real parts store like napa or carquest to find the application in a book for the motorhome chassis, but it should be the same as a pickup truck.
dodge and all of the auto manufacturers try to get as much use as possible out of thier parts tooling. the car lines usually get the newest items, them some parts are used on trucks, and eventually motorhomes.i have seen where parts from 60's cars were used in 70's trucks, etc.
many of the motorhome parts originated in the earlier car or truck lines. i have owned and parted out several older motor homes and have seen turn signal lenses from 50's pickups, headlight trim rings, and trans shifters from the 60's, etc. on 70's motorhomes. i currently have a 72 Avco Grand Lodge 413/727 with about 40k miles on it.
i don't drop in here too often, but i can be reached at dcmopar(at)gmail.com
if anyone needs parts help or info.
