We have a 1997 Itasca 32' Suncruiser. En route home this week, something hit the window over the sink shattering the glass. Only the sliding portion of the glass broke. The sliding screen kept the broken glass outside the motor home. The fixed portion of the window is undamaged.
Does anyone have any experience or advice to offer regarding how to fix or replace the sliding portion of the window only? The two glass repair shops we have spoken to suggest we replace the entire window and frame. This seems like a very expensive fix for one broken pane of glass.
