1984 Titan Robert Scarborough 7-10-06
I am looking at purchasing a 84 Titan from my wife's grandfather. He buys and sells cars and trucks for something to do. He came across this Titan. I have no idea what he paid for it. It has what he described as new supports (rubber?) over the axles, new oven and stove. He says everything works and it is in good shape. I think he wants to sell it to me for around 5k. The interior looks really good. The exterior is in pretty good shape as well. The owners manuals are all there.

Does this sound like a deal? Is there a good way to judge if it will make it the 1,000 miles back home? Do you think it is one of those situations where if it makes the first 100 miles then it will make the rest? Thanks for your advice.

Just wanted to see how you made out. I came across a good deal for 84 36ft one myself and want to turn around and sell it. From what I can tell the value is somewhere between 5,500 and 12,900. So I think your getting a fair deal. Would your wife's grandfather be interested in buying another Titan?

I have a 1984 Titan too! Love my MH and we are working on it almost every weekend. I would be interested in buying copies of your owners manual if you have them. That's the only thing I'm missing!!

I have a problem. My interior lights and water pump do not work when the motorhome is not connected the l20 v0lt power. When connected to power or the generato is running every thing works fine. Is ther a fuse I should be looking for and if so where woud it be located. HELP!!

Hi..

I am looking a Titan motorhome that has a rebuilt 454 Chevrolet engine and it is 30 ft long.
Nice shape on the inside [tons of cupboards and furniture looks like new] and the guy says everything works. It is a class A.

What do you think for $3000?

Thx
Gary
