Re: Amigo Motorhomes by Dan
Post New Message Hi guys. I used to work for Amigo Motorhomes in San Marcos California back in the 70s. They were one of the best built motorhome of it’s time. They were all steel welded constructions. We only rolled out about 2 a week and were all hand built. No prefab. The company closed up due to the big gas crunch in the 70s. They were built mostly on the Dodge chassis but we did a very few on the Chevy chassis. If you ever get a chance to pull the carpet up in the back, look for some artwork on the plywood sub floor. We had a guy that did some art on everyone he worked on.
