Am changing carpet, tile, window treatments and tile floor in 2000 Holiday Rambler Imperial--41 foot.
Interested in hearing from others that have done that their suggestions and what they did that they wouldn't do again. We are new to RV since May 2004
All tile or not??No carpet under driver
just tile or rubber same as step??change to wood and what brand? Tile (real) good or not considering much travel. HELP
I thought about tile for mine, but my brother said it was way too heavy and would crack without proper support... like cement board, which is also extremely heavy. I think if I were you, I would consider wood?
Good luck!

JUST COMPLETED A 82 SUNCREST "A", I USED REAL WOOD INTERLOCKING SQUARES IN THE GALLEY ONLY, TILE IN THE BATHROOM, WITH MOLDING, LOOKS RICH !!! CARPET RESIDENTIAL DUPONT STAINMASTER 80 OZ FACE WEIGHT WITH 7 # REBOUND PAD SURE FEELS GOOD ON YOUR FEET, PLUS ALL THE COMMENTS YOU GET, THEY ALL SAY "NOW WHY COULDNT THE FACTOR DO THAT" ? I SAID I DON'T KNOW BUT I NOW KNOW HOW TO DO IT OH YES BY THE WAY USE RESIDENTIAL MOLDING FOR THE PARQUET, ITS THAT PLASTIC WITH WOOD FACING SOUNDA CHEEPA BUT IF ITS MESSED UP YOU CAN ALWAYS CUT ANOTHER PIECE BECAUSE YOU HAVE SPARE PRODUCT, IN STORAGE...
MINI BLINDS, WITH GOOD GRADE OF FABRIC " TAPESTRY " PREFERED. HANGS GOOD, DOESN'T LOOK CHEEPIE EVEN THOUGH IT NOT TOO EXPENSIVE, OUR SUNCREST USED TO HAVE THAT UGLY ORANGE SHAG CARPET WITH ORANGE FURNITURE THAT WAS THE "KIND" WRONG KIND AS FAR AS WE WERE CONCERNED, THEY ALWAYS ASK ME WHAT YEAR IS THIS COACH I TELL THEM AND THEY CAN'T BELIEVE IT SO I SHOW THE REGISTRATION, ALOT OF WORK BUT A LABOR OF LOVE HUSBAND AND WIFE PROJECT... YOU'LL LOVE IT DARLING

Hi John,
My husband and I have a 1998 Monaco, and we want to replace the carpet in it. Is this something we can do ourselves? You mentioned that you and your wife have done this. Do you have to remove the seats, if so how hard is this, and what about the couch? we do have a single slide out.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
thxs so much
