I purchased a used '86 Pace-Arrow. On the dash is a large silver button labled "Auxillary Start". I have no idea what this button is for. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Scott,
The Aux Start is a switch that will start the motor home or the gennerator off of all batteries.
Typically the motorhome engine starts off the main engine battery and the generator starts off the aux battery or batteries. If the motor home fails to start you will push the Aux switch and hold it in while cranking the engine, this will help you start with all power available....You may want to read the owners manual to see if there is another switch that isolated the two power systems.

Good Luck
Joe

Hello,
This button is for starting the motorhome when the batteries are low, it causes the second batterie to be used along with the first batterie so you have the cranking power that you'll need.

Thanks Joe, that makes much more sense to me now.
