Post New Message Just yesterday I was reviewing the state laws on toads. I saw only one state that required toad brakes on cars or trailers under 3000 lbs. As long as stops are gentle, the stress on the brakes and other items is slight, but a panic stop? That's a different story. For maximum protection, toad brakes are the way to go.
