I just purchased a Blue Bird Bus from a local school auction. It runs well, and is in good condition. It is a diesel, 77 passenger, flat nosed with engine in front, Catterpillar Engine, 165K miles, made in 1980, decent tires, all seats, everything works, intercome system, stop sign, everything on a school bus...
My question is what would I expect to sell such a bus for. I want to list it in several local papers, or would be willing to sell to anyone, what should I ask? Is there some sort of Bus Blue Book out there, or do I look around online? If so, how important are such differences as diesel, flat noses, where the engine is, how long it is, year... Any information would be helpful. I would also be willing to sell, and at this time, from what they are going for on E-bay, I would want about 2,000 for it. But, is that unreasonable? Thanks in advance
