P-30 chassis brakes by Gordon
Post New Message The brakes on my 1997 Safari Trek which is on a Chevrolet P-30 chassis are very spongy and it is hard to stop. The rig does stop but takes an unusual amount of pedal pressure. I have been told that P-30 chassis brakes are soft with a spongy pedal. Is this true? Has anyone else with that chassis experienced this? Can anything be done to increase the pedal response ? The brakes have been bled so no air is in the system.
