Shimmy at 65+mph by darren lewis
Post New Message I have a 1984 30'Pace arrow with a 454 chevy on th e p-30 chassis. We recently drove on a 2000 mile trip and all was ok but I could not go over 60-65 mph due to a vibration and shimmy in what seemed to be coming from the front end. I have 6 goodyear tires (about 1 yr old and 4000 miles on em) and the front end was worked on just before I bought it ( 4 months ago roughly.

There is a front steering stabilizer shock and for the most part the thing drives straight and does not pull to one side or the other. It does get affected by wind and gets blown when big rigs pass.

Any sugestions or comments.

thanks
darren
