Turns over, but wont start - fuel pump? by Steve
Post New Message --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 1991 Fleetwood Southwind with a 454 engine. Everything worked fine until yesterday when I had a company come out and install new carpet in the rv. Batteries are fully charged, engine turns over, but wont fire. It looks as though there is no fuel going into the carburetor. Is there any kind of fuel pump or fuel injection switch that the installers could have knocked loose under the dash on the drivers side by the fuse block. All of the fuses look fine and evrything else in the rv is working fine.

This is the only thing that I can think of, since it has been running perfect and I recently had it tuned by an RV mechanic and he said everything was in great shape.

Also, the Check Engine light is on, but I cant remember if that comes on every time the Rv is turned on but not running.

Any ideas??? Please help.

Thanks.
