1999 Ford V10 Solenoied by Bob MacKissock
Post New Message I'm having problems starting my 1998/1999 Itasca MH with the Ford V10. I believe that the problem is the battery solenoide as I don't get a click sound when I turn the key. If I keep trying it will sooner-or-later start. I have two solenoides, one for the truck battery and one for the house batteries. I think they are connected in series. I tried using both systems and get the same results. I believe the starter is ok. I think the ignition switch is ok as there is no play in the key. Has Anyone else have this problem? Thanks Mac
