Post New Message The spray used by rv dealers is the same stuff used by car dealers. Basically, it is a fabric dye with a silicone additive. It does nothing to "restore" the carpet - just makes it bright and a little bit shiny. Kinda like putting that tire shine on your tires - they are still worn and weather-checked, but they look nicer. Call your local NAPA store and ask them who in your area sells products for automotive detailers. If you are in a large city, check the yellow pages for automotive supplies and look for the ad that mentions supplies for detail shops. If you don't want to do it yourself, look for automotive detail shops. They will spray it for you. In my area it would be about $100 for an rv carpet. A lot more if you want the whole rig detailed but it will sure look good when they are all done.
