||We have just returned from a trip to Vero Beach where we got an earful from several "older" (as in time camping as well as wisdom!) campers who both had the opinions that there were better rigs out there. One of them had been to court with Fleetwood and apparently won a settlement from them for what he labeled as "fraud." His rig is a Wanderlodge which is a little pricey for most folks. The other fellow said he had a Fleetwood new and did not have any problems for about three years and "then it just started falling apart." At 160-190 thousand, that is way too soon to be falling apart! So what we are gonna do is look for a used Wanderlodge or Prevost and see what we can find. Both of these fellows told us that they had not one reservation about their rigs, with extensive use and milage on each. Both had purchased them used and both said that that was the only way to go -- these can be found with low milage on them, everything is built heavy duty and the engines are "made to go a million miles."
Anyway, this is where we are right now. Good luck in your search and we will hope for the same.
