I am working on a tiny house project. I started out with a 28 foot travel trailer which I gutted. In my over eagerness to strip the interior I just took a pair of side cutters to the control box. I have since traced the 110volt circuits and also the 12 volt system. Last nite I benched the converter and am 90% sure I got it ready to reinstall. My question is are these units ment to have 110volt to them constantly? With a battery hooked up I have battery voltage to each fused circuit. But when I introduce 110volts the battery voltage jumps to 14.5 volts. Seems to me that would cook the battery over time. Any thoughts?
