Chassis type Paul White 11-18-14
I have a 2001 Featherlite Vogue that I am trying to find front swaybar bushings for. I have been asked what type chassis, I know it is a freightliner but I do not know the type. Can anyone tell me where to find a number on the chassis so I can track down the chassis type? Or point me in the direction of a place I can get the bushing based on the size of the 1 bushing I have left?

Beside your drivers seat on a info plate and on your registration should be the VIN for the chassis. The info plate beside or near the driver seat should also be the serial of the body or RV portion and a bunch of other info.

What you need will be in amoungst a buch of other crap you don't care about. If that does not work:

Call or visit the Local Freightliner dealer with your VIN # and he can sell you litterally eveything including a frame.

If you have no real acess to a Freightliner dealer any real Heavy Truck (Semi) Parts place can match your bushings. This is what I normally do as they are 2 blocks down rather than accross town.
