Re: Bus offer value by BUBBA THE BUS TECH
Post New Message If this bus is inspectable for comercial use then it will be worth $15,000, but only if it is a nice, nice unit.

If it is not inspectable, between $1,000 and $7,000 depending on core values for engine, trans, Differential and scrap value.

The engine is so outdated now that the original Detroit parts are getting expensive and rare, The after market is not building parts anymore. So it is getting difficult and expensive to repair.

The Eagle Chassis is sweet but Eagle has been out of business long enough for their part to be rare and expensive as well. Most things like bearings and brakes will be available for another decade but if you break or have to replace a special Eagle part its going to be tough.

I recomend that you look at a MCI 102 series coach or a Prevost XL series unit. Same price range but newer units with parts more available as the manufacturers are still in business.
