I am planning to buy Class A motorhome and would like to know the facts on these two new engines like maintenance costs, mpg, etc. Would like to hear from you. Robert Fulghum 407-896-6080 fulghum@cfl.rr.com

Be sure to check the GCWR. I believe it is considerably less on new Chevy than it is for the same coach with ford.

I am assuming this is a workhorse chassis? I reviewed GCVR on both. The workhorse has a higher capacity then the ford. Milage maybe a little lower on the chevy but you have about 50 lbft more torque on the chevy. I have not had the coach long enough yet regarding maintenance so I cannot relate any experiences.

I AM THINKING ABOUT BUYING A NEW CLASS A MOTORHOME. WHAT IS THE WORKHORSE OPTION ON A FORD CHASSIS AND IS IT WORTH THE EXTRA COST.
