Bounder motorhome coach batteries Eric Szendrey 1-10-10
I'm trying to figure out the correct order of connection for the coach batteries on a 1987 Bounder motorhome. I've connected the cables in various combinations and sometimes the (+) terminal on the batteries will get extremely hot (in which case I disconnected the cables), and other times a red light will be intermittently displayed on the circuit panel inside the coach(which indicates a current overcharge). Please direct me to a simple, comprehensible wiring diagam which will assist me in making the proper connections.

Thanks!

IF YOU HAVE 6 VOLT BATTERIES THE ARE WIRED POSITIVE TO ONE BATTERY NEGITIVE TO THE SECOND AND A JUMPER WIRE TO CONNECT POSITIVE AND NEGITIVE TOGETHER ONLY IF THEY ARE 6 VOLT BATTERIES EASIEST WAY TO TELL IF THET ARE 6 VOLT IS THEY HAVE 3 CELLS PER BATTERY 12VOLT IS WIRED POSITIVE TO NEGITIVE ON ONE BATTERY THEN JUMPER WIRES OVER TO THE SECOND SET POSITIVE TO POSITIVE NEGITIVE TO NEGITIVE AND THEY HAVE 6 CELLS PER BATTERY

I have a 2005 bounder 34' diesel. I have to replace the existing Trojan T105 batteries. Any suggestions on replacement batteries? Thanks, Sean
