85 winnebago 31 must prime to start travis 8-5-09  
My winnebago runs fine until im on a hill and then it runs out of gas and dies. I also cannot start it without priming it after it sits for a day or so.

I just had the carburetor rebuild because i though a float was sticking but this didnt fix it.

Make sure you have a
strong fuel pump and that all of your fuel filters are good. Some motorhomes have a second filter in the fuel line along the frame. Also make sure all of your rubber fuel are good, check for leaks, even at the tank outlet. If you have leaks, you suck air and don't push enough fuel.

Travis---also check the Tank Vent line---be sure it's NOT stopped up-if it is---fuel pump cant pull a good suction,
and
did the shop overhauling the Rochester Quadrojet Carb---put a NEW float in it---they should have, they are fiber and Go bad-they sink-and cause hard starting and flooding out
rich in va.
