Avco Info... Morrison 8-3-09
I have a new project 1976 Avco (Dodge 440, air ride axle, all original with 33K miles on it). I acquired it from a good friend that no longer has time or want to deal with it. It has a few issues for sitting for 3 years but all in all I would say it is a 97 out of 100. I have all the original manuals, documentation etc. that came with it but would like to know if there are any online resources anyone here might know of for the Avco. I searched and everything about it I have found has been dead for years, so anything recent I suppose (forums, clubs, restorations etc.) would be helpful.
thanks in advance,
m

Morrison, if your AVCO has Dodge
Running gear and engine, you can find
parts for it at NAPA auto parts.
The listing will be under various models of Dodge trucks. To name a few, D400, D500, D600 ect.
If by chance you know a place i can find a drivers side windshield for a 1970 Avco, Grand Lodge i have it would help a great deal.
Good luck
I have a great amount of info on AVCO
e-mail me and let me know what you need. Gary

Just got a avco travel trailer 24' don't know much more about it, could use any info you can help with. I did read the above info regarding the Dodge relation, This trailer is all origonal and has not been use much if at all, the stove is still new. I think it is between 1965 and 1975

Thank you for your time
