I have a new project 1976 Avco (Dodge 440, air ride axle, all original with 33K miles on it). I acquired it from a good friend that no longer has time or want to deal with it. It has a few issues for sitting for 3 years but all in all I would say it is a 97 out of 100. I have all the original manuals, documentation etc. that came with it but would like to know if there are any online resources anyone here might know of for the Avco. I searched and everything about it I have found has been dead for years, so anything recent I suppose (forums, clubs, restorations etc.) would be helpful.
thanks in advance,

Morrison, if your AVCO has Dodge
Running gear and engine, you can find
parts for it at NAPA auto parts.
The listing will be under various models of Dodge trucks. To name a few, D400, D500, D600 ect.
If by chance you know a place i can find a drivers side windshield for a 1970 Avco, Grand Lodge i have it would help a great deal.
I have a great amount of info on AVCO
e-mail me and let me know what you need. Gary

Hello I see that it has been years ago that you posted your info about the Avco Rv line my husband & I purchased a 1970 grand Lodge roughly two months ago on a whim and almost have all original manuals for every item and upgrade installed except for a set of switches on the dash that we have no clue of the function nor does the mechanic who has looked it over for us. it runs great and needs very little restoration but we are new to the RV world and would love any in site on this new adventure we've embarked on!
