|Class A Motorhome||bill||4-11-09|
|I'm a newbie to RV's. Wife and I would like to get some unbiased reviews of the major Class A Motorhome manufactures. Every place I look they want $ to pass along a recommendation.|

|This is a pretty subjective question as people like different things about different motorhomes.|
We very much like the older Safari motorhomes...the ones without the slides but with wide bodies...they are roomy and extremely well designed and well built. However, most people today want slides...they don't realize that slides can be VERY dangerous, they add a lot of weight to the motorhome, and they are expensive to fix. Also, many of them leak, are colder in winter and hotter in summer.
On the other hand, the wide body motorhomes are not made anymore and it's hard to find a good one.
Don't know if this helps, but I can tell you we researched for more than 2 years before buying our Serengetti.
