I bought this oven used and don't have the owner's manual. It is model #R-9483 manufactured in 1992. I can use the microwave fine but can't figure out if the convection part works. It looks brand new..very well cared for. Anyone know how to operate the convection?

I recently attempted to dry herbs in my micro. Placed several dill between 2 paper towels. Set time for 2 min. per my instruction book. Within 1 minute, I had flames inside. v.ery frightening. My dill was wet, coming from the fridge, was this my problem? What did I do wrong? Please advise me. Mrs. Sylvia
