Vacuum pump fuse blows in diesel MH Don 10-20-11
My vacuum pump fuse is blowing out when I change the location selector (where
the air comes out of the dash board- dash & defrost, dash and floor, floor,
defrost only). The pump is working. The vacuum reservoir appears fine. I checked
the vacuum hose fittings and found no wire problems as best I could. Moving the
selector thru the various positions blows the fuse. The heater flaps that close
the various outlets are vacuum controlled. The fan works and the defroster is
the default position when the fuse blows. After putting in a fresh fuse
everything works for a few minutes until I move the location switch several
times and the fuse then blows. Any comments.
