Anyone changed to the new ISP model L 12-18-10
I would like to talk to any contractors who already had to change to the new ISP model. Just wondering how FedEx is treating you since the switch and how the contracts are. Is the contract in favor of FedEx or is it a good deal for the contractors. Just wondering. I am not sure if I want to buy another route or not. Thanks for any help on this. My state had not been notified yet of the new Ruling...

What i have noticed with the switch is that management still deals with former owners just as if they were still in ownership. i havent seen a negative change with it, besides the hard feelings from the swing drivers, and people that have been in ownership for up to 17 years, owning a single route being forced to either buy 2 more, or sell their bussiness to anthoer contractor. So depending on your stand of being an owner and having the responsibilty over a few more drivers. It seems like it favors those that want the opportunity for a million dollar bussiness. I dont see how Fedex is bennifiting from the new ISP model

Could you explain why the swing drivers had more hard feelings?

Swing drivers are upset because they are out a job. In the ISP world there is no vacation weeks off- that is all up to the CSAs to provide.
