I just bought it and am trying to get it running! It's been sitting in by neighbors garage for maybe 3 - 5 years. It wiss start and run for maybe 10-15 seconds then crap out. I cranked her again and smelled gas; flooded, I assumed. I took the cover off and watched the carb while cranking it again. I noticed gas coming up through a tube on the top of the carb. I am again assuming that this is what is causing the flooding! I have limited knowledge on carb operation, but i don't think that the gas should be coming out of this tube! Any suggestions on what may be causing this and how to remedy the situation will be greatly appreciated!!! My wife is starting to nag me... she's ready to hit the road!!! Help!!! |
