Re: engine removal of 1994 winnebago by John
Post New Message You need to remove it thru the front. You will need to remove the hood and grill assuming class a motorhome. you will need to pull the radiator and work your way back. Once you are there, it is pretty straight forward. Using a cherry picker type hoist, and a steel plate bolted to the intake, you can pull the motor out, once you disconnect everything. suggst you also go thru the tranny while you are there as you will not want to go back. also have the radiator checked out. becareful on the powersteering pump if you replace it, make sure it does not leak at the housing BEFORE you reinstall it. It takes about 4 hours to get to the front of the engine. whole operation takes 24 hours. take digital pictures at each step. go ahead peel the onion.
