My RV has 454 with carburetor, I am not sure but am told probably a Holly carb. does anyone have a diagram of this caburetor, I think the power valve is bad. Any help?
The carburetor should have either a tag or stamp on it that has a brand or part number.Find the number and search it online.I have had good luck finding trouble shooting advice, diagrams, and pictures for specific models that I have entered. Good Luck
Did this company also make a camper trailer? My Dad has one and I am trying to find info on it, so that I can sell it. It is a 1983 Suncrest or Suncraft, not sure now of the brand. Please any help would be appreciated.
Any one with a suncrest (mines 83')I highly recomend running your own fuel line from the tank to switch to fuel pump.I did this and solved my fuel problems. there should be the feds over seeing the mfg. of these things. the factory(suncrest) has fuel lines going from metal to rubber to plastic encased in exspansion foam(where it wouild crack from being old) with not wires right next to em'. upon laying underneath this thing and taking a good look(and spending many hours on my back)it's small wonder there out of bus.I guess the previous owner couldn't handle it any more. hence the reason I got a 34' for $50.00 thats right $50.00. I got about $250.00 total in it right now, and have 2 roof airs working fine, water pump, microwave, generator, refridgerator, etc. all i need is tires and brakes. of course thats the easy part, where will I get the money to fill up to gas tanks I don't know!
Hi ken, did you work out what carbie you have,if you look @ the top of carby the holley has the rear throats open were the rochester has a top butterfly plate that opens rear secondary fuel when the vacunm drops of for more power. gary
