Weight oil for 454	MICHAEL DIPIERRO	6-19-07
I have a 1992 bounder with a 454 chevy. I have 20w-50 in it now. Should I use a different weight oil? Thanks for any info. Mike

I run 20w50 most of the time but have ran heavy oil in very hot weather,118 or higher pulling long grade near Indio Calif. I think 20w50 will be just fine during warm weather. Good Luck MIKE

I have a 1964 ss impala and i run 10w-40 but i think i need a different grade if you know lemme know....thanx
