Will ingition module failure cause a condition where fuel pumps are shut down and fuel is not pumped to carburetor? Truck has dual tanks but neither pump will work (run). Thanks, really need some help.

Don't know what you have but some rigs with electric fuel pumps have a cut off switch on the oil pressure sender.This shuts off pumps if in a wreck that the engine dies.Don't want to pump gas out all over the place in you are trapped in side the rig.Check around sender area for some type of switch.They seem to go bad and leak oil and burn the contacts in the switch.
