AM NEEDING TO BUY A GOOD RUNNING 8V71 ENGINE TO GO IN A 1969,GMC 4903 BUS. MUST BE LEFT-HAND ROTATION(SITS SIDEWAYS)IF NOT COMPLETE RUNNING ENGINE COULD USE 8V71 BLOCK...1971 OR NEWER. CALL 740-262-3989...Tim

Hello Tim! I just did an internet search for MC-8 parts wanted & found your ad here on RV-Coach. I have an extra block from a mid 70's MC-8 Crusader! It has been gone through & has new freeze plugs, the crank installed, new camshafts & one liner has been installed already. It came from the Tulsa, Oklahoma Public School System. I don't have any papers on it but I assure you those guys knew what they were doing as My "Screaming Jimmy" will do almost 100 MPH in my 1975 TMC MC-8 Crusader that they went through in 1999. They had three of these buses & I got the parts stash for all 3! I have a complete set of new pistons/liners, rings, bearings, used connecting rods, 2 good 4-Valve heads( I think one of them has new valves & springs in it), oil pan, etc... I will make you a deal on the lot of it or can buy you what you need. I'm going to put the money back into the coach conversion & that is the only reason I'm selling the parts. I don't really need them either as my drive train only has 42,286 miles on it! I have other NOS MCI parts too. I can be reached at: 615-377-6577 between 10:30am-Midnight CST.
