Your all gonna love this!! I recently had a new Jasper 454 built to RV specs installed. First trip out, no power, missing, running hot pulling a hill. Back to the garage that did the install. Couldn't find any problem. They have replaced every sensor, plug wires, cap and rotor, still misses and manifolds glow RED. Cut out the muffler and CAT as a test of exhaust back pressure...manifolds still glowing red and engine missing with no power....at my wits end!! ready to sue this garage!! Any suggenstions??

Who bought the engine from Jasper? you or the shop? I ran in one of those(NOT jasper) engine was supposed to be brand new(in a boat), found out the engine was worn out & missing ring in cylinder #7!!. Make an investigation.

Sounds like timing off one tooth no power and over heating
either on the timing gears or distributor.454's time at lower mark with # 5 plug wire

The shop bought the engine...I saw it when it came in, all wrapped up. They are a Jasper installer but this has turned into a fiasco. I have the RV at a heavy GM garage now....we'll see what the outcome of that is.
