Changing coils Alan Roberts 1-13-07
I have a 1978 Tioga MH on a Dodge frame with a 360 engine. I am going to change the stock coil with an MSD coil. Every thing I can find says that I need a 0.80 ohm ballast resister but I cannot find where to install this resister. The engine compartment has a 4 pole ballest resister already. Do I replace this resister with the new one? The new resister has 2 pols. How would I wire it. An engine wiring diagram for this dodge would be good if any one has one.

One side of the 4 pole resister goes to the alternator field the other side goes to the existing coil
