Dodge 440-3 motorhome carb? David 12-8-06  
Hello all, someone replaced the original carb and put a holley on it.. it is dumping fuel out the vents. I put new seat, needle and float in it same thing.. doing some research, the holley is not the right application. I called Autozone to get a motorhome carter carb and they advised heavist application is dodge 1 ton truck.. Just wondering if this carb will work ok for the motorhome 440-3 engine or should I try and get a motorhome carb.. any suggestions.. where would I get one?

I have both the holley version and the carter carb for the 440 motor home engines,i also have 3 complete upper end cylinder head/intakes/cross over exhaust systems,water pump houseiongs and pumps with all brackwets,pulleys and belts basically 3 complete big block upper end's
ill sell just the carb if you only need that,cmae off a running 440 and is in grat clean shape

I wopuld suggest you look for an Edelbrock carb. If you phone them they will suggest the right model. I also know of people who have installed a Quadrajet. The original Carter is a POS.

I am also looking for a 440-3 for my motorhome. The one currently on it is the wrong one.
