Red Hot Manifold-Chevy 454	Harold	10-6-06
Manifold pipe gets red hot in just a few minutes after cranking. This appears to be the only problem at this time. I have removed the muffler and tail pipe to check for blockage, and found none. Checked heat riser, seemed to be working fine. Any help would be appreciated.

I need more info to diagnose, is it one of the exsaust manifolds glowing red? A riser for egr and intake heat? Glowing red after the catilitic converter? All have diferent specs and problems associated with them. Good Luck
