GOOD MOVE , those flex fans are there for drag racers that DONT want the load from the cooling fan and flatten out under load .

Not what is wanted in a loaded RV slogging up a hill.

Try using 70% distilled water and only 30% antifreez , if this will still give enough cold weather protection.

Water cools much better than antifreez so the more water , better cooling.

30% antifreez is for the corrosion inhibitors ect in the antifreez.
