My 454 tbi engine cranks,runs great for a little while(few seconds to a minute or two),then starts surging(lopping). Any ideas what will cause this?

Check for a vacuum leak,with engine running spray some wd40 around base of TBI and see if engine smoothes out,check all vacuum hoses and connections,look for any heat cracked vac.hoses.Might even pinch off vacuum hose to brake booster and see if engine smoothes out.Make sure all filters are clean and plugs and wires are in good shape.When first starting engine is in open loop and running rich,but after about 3 min.it goes to closed loop and starts leaning out to proper running mixture.If you can't find it you may have to have a scanner hooked up to see whats causing it.
