I started my Bounder just to let the engine run for a short time. It started up fine & ran for about 15 min. & then stalled. All the dash lites & gages were on. I tried to recrank, but the starter would spin & the engine would not hit. No dash lites or gages. I checked the fuseable links & the're ok. Any suggestions?

Crawl under pass side find starter, check all wires for frays or burns... May have lost shield I started my Bounder just to let the engine run for a short time. Sounds like the battery was not being charged. It stalled when the battery died. Did you jump start it or use an electric battery charger/booster to start it the first time? If so you may have damaged the rectifier diodes in the alternator. BTW, starting engines and letting them run for 20-30 minutes then shutting them down is more harmful than just letting them sit.
