I have a 89 S10 Pickup with a 2.8 engine. I want to swap it for a 4.6 but don't know if i will have to get another tramission. I think the one in the truck now is the stock one.

Larry Advanced adapters offers a book and all parts for a 4.3 engine change over for that truck as well as a 350 kit. I don't know too much about the 4.6, but I do know the 2.8 has its own trans size, its not the same as the 4 cyl or the 4.3 i do know that. mark
