Fuel Problems Richard 7-14-06
I have a 1984 Pace Arroe Class Cand I am having problems getting gas from the tank to the engine. I changed all fuel pumps (one electric by the tanks and one on the engine), changed fuel filters, cleared all lines, made sure there was gas in it. I still can't get any gas from the tank to the first pump. I am beginning to wonder if the problem isn't in the tank itself. This is the first time I've ever had this problem. Am I missing something?
Re: Fuel Problems mike e 7-14-06
I think I would measure for voltage on elect.pump and make sure its running when you turn on the key.Might help to know what chassis you have. Also some of the early models did not start to pump fuel till it pumped up oil pressure.May check for fuel pump relay. Do you have any pressure at first elect. pump.I think someone may have added elect.pump if its a chevy chassis.Check if it has cut off switch on oil pressure sensor may be bad.If pump has voltage may be plugged screen in tank. Was there a filter on carb.??Just a few ideas hope it helps Mike

Also check your fuel line for leaks, it may be sucking air.
