I have a 2.2 turbo gt probe 1989. It has good compresion 100 lb on all cylinders.HereSthe problem. Its getting to much gas.its flooding out and stalling. why?

Dont know exactly whats wrong but it could be: Old fuel filter gone way bad. Fuel pump gone bad. fuel pump relay gone bad. Spark plugs not gapped wide enough. www.performanceprobe.com or www.probetalk.com either those sites would be a good place to start if you havent solved it yet.
