How do you tell your engine size by using the vin number?? my vin # R403S101838

What year is the Dodge, is it a car or truck? Call or stop at a Chry. dealer with your vin#, If I remember the 8th number is the engine size. You can also look on the hood, or around the fan shroud for the emission decal, it should give the year and engine size.
