360 dodge hard starting	Steve	1-3-06
I have a dodge 360 that I have a hard time starting. It has the electronic HP dist. When I try and start it, it just spins until I shut off the key then it will fire, turn the key on again and off and it will fire again. I have replaced the ign switch and the starter but that doesn't seem to help. Sometimes I can put my batt charger on it when I've run down the batt and then sometimes it will start. I seem to be getting good spark to the plugs, any ideas????

Check for play inside the dist move the shaft from side to side if it moves enough it will cause it not to start intermittently until finally it wont start at all......
