My 95 geo tracker (manual transmission) is running somewhat "doggy". cant seem to get it to go over 45 miles an hour without a struggle. It is chugging some. When the engine gets warmer, it does not idle very well. The oil was just recently changed, the anitfreeze level is good. I cant find where to check transmission fluid. It starts great. The check engine light was on, but has gone off again. I have heard many suggestions, would like someone that is a bit more knowledgeable to help me, if you could:)
I had a similar probably, where the engine sort of sounded like a lawn mower and shook alot. I took it to a mechanic and the timing is off. Make sure they know that this year of tracker, you have to time it off the 4th cylender
