I have to crank it several times first thing in the morning before it will start. Starts fine the rest of the day and there are no check engine lights or anything to indicate a problem. New fuel filter didn't help nor has injector cleaner thus far. Any ideas and/or suggestions ?
Sounds as if the computer isn't priming the fuel system. The pump(s) should come on and run for 2 seconds each time the key is in the run or start position. Your system is leaking down overnight, during the day, due to the shorter intervals between starts, its OK. Try this on a morning start, turn the key on, but do not crank, count to 5 turn the key off, count to 15, turn the keyback on, count to 5, turn it off, count to 15, turn the key on and crank engine, if it starts right off, you've found the problem and the solution.
