My father and I need to replace the water pump on his 1990 Ford 460 engine that is on a ton and a half chassis for his 1991 PaceArrow RV. Can you tell us where we might get instructions on how to do this? Do you know where we can find the water pump at a reasonable price? Thank you for your prompt reply.

Mike, there comes a time when I have take a guess that this job may be a bit much for an amateur mechanic. Putting a water pump on a 460 is job enough. Putting one on a 460 in a motorhome poses a bigger challenge. You wouldn't want your father to have a problem on the road, would you? Give this one some more thought.
I have a 1990 Ford E-350 Motorhome I have a problem with the temp gauge. It runs between the R-M straight up and down. When I turn the A/C on the gauge runs upto the L but never overheats. If anyone could help I would really use it. I also changed the thermostat, the temp gauge the sending unit the radiator was flushed out and refilled. Also is it possible to mount a numbered Temp gauge without screwing-up the electrical system.
Joe, you are exactly correct. This job is too big for us to do. My dad has found a professional mechanic who could put it in IF he had the proper instructions. So, I'm trying to find them for this fellow to do. Thank you for your help. Mike
