Ford Thunderbird P0402 Engine Code Phillip 12-8-02
I have a 1994 Ford Thunderbird LX 4.6 I have the P0402 Code in my car and the light comes on and off every so often....but also my engine is lacking power really bad....When I put about 1/4 to 1/2 throttle the car will run fine and rev normally.....but if I WOT the engine will rev to about 3000 to 3500 RPM and start to bog and lose power and start to slow down. When I have the car in park if I put it about 1/2 throttle it will rev to 5000rpm but if I WOT it in park it goes to about 3500 almost 4000 than it starts to drop and when you continue to hold it the car will make a loud pop by the cats. also when I am on the freeway the car will not exceed 100mph..... WHat could be wrong.....My car has 124,000 miles on it.

Please E-Mail me back on my AOL E-Mail box and let me know what to do to fix this problem. Thank You
