1978 Dodge 440 Wont Start - No Lights RJ 10-28-16
Had is going then had to turn off engine to do something before heading out for short trip. Came back and wouldn't start. Not even a click and no lights or any other accessories. When I place a screwdriver between starter and solenoid it turns over. Any ideas as to where I might check in order to determine what is amiss?

Thanks.

So you have a power supply problem to the ignition switch.

Start at the battery, there is a fuse link and this is where the separate power feed starts.

Then trace the system through the fuse box to the ignition switch.

Good Luck
